The IMU medical programme is into medical sciences and clinical training.
The first two years focus on medical sciences and is undertaken at the university campus in bukit jalil. On competition of the medical sciences , students proceed to clinical training . Students may choose to undertake this training either at clinical campus seremban for another 2.5 years, or at partner medical school overseas duration from 2 to 4 years.
The students of this Medical degree will be registered with the Medical council of UK, Australia, Ireland or Canada. Students to Canada will do 2 years at Dalhousie University and then with USMLI will do their Clinicals in USA for 2 years.. Students to Australia will get a 2 to 3 year stay back based on the place of study and can also apply for PR. If a student wants to do a Master's course he will have to work a minimum of 2 years in Australia,UK , Ireland and Canada. They can apply for PR while working.
