GRE general Test

Measures in Quantitative reasoning, Analytical writing and Verbal reasoning

GRE subject

Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Literature in English and Psychology

GRE test are offered and conducted worldwide, GRE general test is offered via computer based around the world with the duration 3hours 45min.GRE test fee will be $205 (GRE general exam fee will differ in some countries), However GRE subject test students will appear in pen and paper and they offer GRE subject exams only 3 times a year (Spet, October and April) GRE subject test fee will be $150 and the duration of the test will be 2 hours and 50 minutes

GRE general test is used around the globe to get admissions to study abroad for the Undergraduate, Master’s, Business management program with specialization, Law schools, Doctoral programs and Awarding fellowships. GRE general test score is valid for 5 years and GRE scores trusted by top business schools worldwide.

  • Ability to analyse quantities information and problem solving skills.

Is there a Minimum Score in the GRE General Test?

  • NO there is no minimum GRE score
  • GRE general test is offered via computer based around the world with the duration of 3hours 45min plus break.
  • Analytical writing – 1 Section - 2 task – 30 minutes
  • Verbal Reasoning -- 2 Section – 20 questions per section – 30 minutes per section
  • Quantitative Reasoning – 2 sec – 20 questions per section - 35 minutes per section
  • The test also includes a research section or unscored session.
  • Research session will always be at the end of the exam and it will be clearly marked.
  • Unscored session, test takers will not no which one it is, so the test taker should try the best to and all the sections

Quantitative Reasoning

The Quantitative Reasoning section measures your ability to:

  • understand, interpret and analyze quantitative information
  • solve problems using mathematical models
  • apply basic skills and elementary concepts of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and data analysis

The Quantitative Reasoning section includes an on-screen calculator. If you are taking the paper- delivered test, a calculator will be provided at the test center.

Verbal Reasoning

The Verbal Reasoning section measures your ability to:

  • analyze and draw conclusions from discourse; reason from incomplete data; identify author's assumptions and/or perspective; understand multiple levels of meaning, such as literal, figurative and author's intent
  • select important points; distinguish major from minor or relevant points; summarize text; understand the structure of a text
  • understand the meanings of words, sentences and entire texts; understand relationships among words and among concepts

Analytical Writing
